Watch Me Grow: 12 Months

Photobucket
Clothing: 18 – 24 Months
Diapers: Size 5
Updates: He can stand from sitting on his own unassisted by pulling up on any furniture.  He took his 1st step last week.  We’ve made the switch to whole milk with no issues and he is eating all table foods like a champ.  He only gets one bottle a day at bedtime, otherwise he uses the sippy cups so we will transition away from the bottle in the coming weeks.  His year appointment is in 2 weeks so I’m anxious to find out his height and weight!  He continues to be a great little guy.

Clothing: 18 Months

Diapers: Size 4
Updates: He started crawling normally but only on the carpet.  On the tile he’ll resort back to army crawling.  He’s saying a few more words but his favorite is still “Daddy.”  He likes to scream to get your attention and I can’t wait until this phase is over.  He’s been eating more table foods but still prefers the purees.  One table food we did try that I was shocked that he ate was meatloaf?!?!  He’s making no attempts at walking although he will occasionally stand unassisted for a brief second.  He gets jealous if I’m holding Addison and will crawl up to my lap and try to push her off.  Addison and Enzo have also started having power struggles over toys…and the fun begins :-)

Updates: He has 8 teeth and 2 more at the gum line.  At this rate he’ll have a mouth full of teeth by his 1st birthday.  He is eating more table food-blueberries, toast, apples, grapes and bananas.  He is doing the army crawl but hasn’t crawled on his knees yet.  He had his 1st ear infection last week and is on amoxicillian.  He enjoys swinging, stroller rides, bath time and playing with Addison.

Feeding: Cereal in the morning with fruit baby food.  Vegetable baby food for lunch.  Fruit baby food at 3p. Vegetable & Cereal for dinner. 20 oz formula per day.
Night time Sleep: In the process of sleep training.
Updates: He started blowing raspberries, sits unassisted, started sleeping on his stomach at night, claps, holds his arms up when you say “So Big,” and waves bye.  He has said “Mama and Dada” a few times.  We moved him out of his infant car seat and into the convertible car seat.  He loves the pool.

We started sleep training a few weeks ago.  After 3 long nights he finally started sleeping through the night.  Once we moved into the house we had another 3 rough nights but thankfully he is back to sleeping through the night the last 2 nights.  Crossing my fingers that he continues STTN.
